Super thin instant (cyanoacrylate) adhesive for model building and general use. Supplied in a bottle with application attachment.

Super thin instant adhesive with very low viscosity is ideal for bonding non-absorbent and absorbent materials that adhere perfectly to each other - typical applications include bonding RC car tyres to rims. Bonds wood, most plastics, metals, rubber, glass, ceramics, cork, paper.

Typical application method: the adhesive is applied to the joint of perfectly bonded parts adhered together.

Properties

  • Colour: clear
  • Viscosity: 2–6 mPa.s
  • Density: 1.04 g/cm³
  • Optimum application temperature: 23 °C
  • Curing time (depending on temperature and nature of materials to be bonded): 1–15 s
  • Full cure: 24 h
  • Optimal width of the gap between the glued parts: zero
  • The cured adhesive is soluble in: acetone, dimethylformamide, acetonitrile

Recommended activator: KAV56.9983.CZ CA activator 150ml, KAV56.9984.CZ CA activator 200ml spray.

Recommended debonder: KAV56.9979.CZ KAVAN CA Debonder 20g

Removing excess uncured adhesive: cloth or paper napkin moistened in KAV56.9979.CZ CA unblocker or acetone (if bonded materials resist it).

Thinning the adhesive: If the instant glue thickens, it is an indication that it has already partially polymerized and is losing its original properties - no amount of "thinning" can bring it back. If you need a "thinner" instant glue, simply use a lower-viscosity type. The different types of POWER CA instant adhesives can be mixed together to achieve optimum viscosity.

For use as a sealant, suitable fillers: microballoon filler KAV56.9980.CZ KAVAN CA filler.

Suitable for bonding: softwood and hardwood, particleboard, plywood, metals, ceramics, porcelain, fibreglass and carbon laminates, fibreglass and carbon fabrics and fibres, many plastics (including EPP and EPO).

Not suitable for bonding: polystyrene foam, polyethylene, Teflon, silicone.

Storing: in a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry and dark place (at +2 °C to +10 °C). Do not expose to temperatures below +2 °C.

Shelf life: under proper storage conditions, we guarantee a shelf life of 1 year in the unopened original packaging, while maintaining the above product properties.
